Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) is the Pilatus authorized fleet service and support center for the PlaneSense® fractional fleet of PC-12s. As an FAA certified Part 145 repair station, AAC not only offers PC-12 support, but a host of services including turbine aircraft repairs, inspections, and avionics sales and repair services. AAC also supports and maintains the PlaneSense program's three Nextant 400XTi jets, and is preparing for the delivery of Pilatus PC-24 jets, which are scheduled to arrive in 2017.

PC-12 Direct Entry Captains

Crew members must hold a current and valid FAA Commercial or ATP pilot license with single and multiengine land ratings. Total flight time/fixed wing minimum is 2000 hours, with 750 hours of PIC time, and 100 hours of instrument time.

Highly qualified candidates will have experience in Part 135 and/or Part 121 operations. Turbine experience preferred. Pilots must also hold a current and valid second class FAA medical and possess a current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges, and driver’s license.

PC-12 First Officers

PlaneSense, Inc., which manages the largest civilian fleet of PC-12 aircraft in the world, will be interviewing for PC-12 First Officers positions this Spring to fill our Fall 2017 IGS classes.

Our pilots work an 8 on/6 off schedule with an operating area including; the continental United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and islands of the Caribbean, with continuous expansion. PlaneSense, Inc. also has a growing fleet of Nextant 400XTi jets and later this year will take delivery of the first much anticipated Pilatus PC-24 jet. A favorable career path has been created to allow our PC-12 crew members to transition into the jet flight operations, based on seniority.

We look for First Officer candidates with 1,000 hours total flight time/fixed wing; however, resumes with as low as 500TT will be considered, depending on training and experience. Flight Management Representative

PlaneSense, Inc., which manages and operates the world’s largest civilian fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft on behalf of several hundred fractional share owners, seeks to hire a highly capable and self-motivated person for a complete spectrum of aviation-related Customer and Crew Service work within its Flight Operations Center (FOC). The FOC manages over 30 aircraft and over 100 pilots 24/7 to provide guaranteed on-demand service to its fractional share owners within the boundaries of Federal Aviation regulations, Air Traffic Control and ever changing weather. The environment is a high-energy atmosphere, especially during peak travel periods.

All inbound and outbound communications traffic passes via phone conversation or electronic mail and flights are organized electronically utilizing industry-specific computer software. 99% of the work done is by computer and phone in an open office setting.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as first point of contact for aircraft owners to ensure that owners needs are met and exceeded
  • Build accurate itineraries and send confirmations
  • Research unfamiliar airport facilities
  • Inform owners about Air Traffic Control, weather, and maintenance delays
  • Notify flight crews of flight info to include airport, weather, passenger loads, customs info, etc.
  • FAA-mandated flight tracking
  • Reserving US and international customs landing rights
  • Supports for flight crews while “on the road” to include hotel, transportation, meals

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software imperative
  • Aviation or travel industry experience is not required, but certainly preferred
  • Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays. We are open Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, etc.
  • Outstanding communication skills required
  • The ability to work as a team-member, but also be self-motivated

Aircraft Maintenance Technician

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for its repair station, Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. Highly qualified candidates would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in General Aviation A&P Certificate Required. Responsibilities include repairing aircraft, aircraft engines, and aircraft components in accordance with applicable technical data, industry standards and the Atlas Aircraft Center "Repair Station Manual." Technicians need to have a good comprehension of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.

Technical Support Administrator

The Technical Support Administrator is responsible for providing first level of support to end-users with all IT related issues. This position will make every effort to respond, fix/repair/troubleshoot end-user requests in a timely and efficient manner. This position will also manage the help desk ticketing system and phone, including following up with requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide prompt response and solutions to requests submitted to the help desk system, and/or phone.
  • Consistently monitor, respond, and address ongoing tickets logged to the help desk system.
  • Assist the systems engineer whenever possible to both assist and participate in knowledge transfer when appropriate.
  • Maintain workstations, thin clients, helpdesk ticketing system, printers/copiers, mobile devices [company owned], corporate email distribution list [Global Address List], corporate network directory [Active Directory/LDAP].
  • Maintain Documentation, and documentation system(s) [network share, Wiki, etc.].
  • Research, and recommend new technologies and systems.
  • Provide end-user training/assistance on various software systems when appropriate [MS Office, email, network shares, etc.].
  • Participate in rotating, on-call/off-hours support.

Qualifications:

  • Shown proficiencies using Microsoft Windows [7, 8.1], MS Office [2010, 2013], and Microsoft Windows Server [2008, 2012].
  • Experience using Microsoft Active Directory Tools.
  • Experience with LDAP, Cisco, SQL Server, VoIP, Apple iOS, Apple OSX, Android, and web technologies.
  • Experience with Cisco BE6000 UC helpful, but not required.
  • Experience with virtualization systems including, but not limited to VMWare, Citrix, Hyper-V, Linux KVM.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery tools and systems such as VEEAM, Backup Exec, or similar.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or Technical Field, or 5 – 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Technologies, Cisco, or similar helpful but not required.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Office, and web based systems [i.e. Help Desk Systems, etc.].
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
  • Experience troubleshooting basic communication systems, and network systems.
  • Experience with network and/or systems monitoring tools such as WhatsUpGold, SolarWinds, or similar.

Vendor Relations Manager

The Vendor Relations Manager at PlaneSense, Inc. will work with cross-functional departments to manage all aspects of FBO/Fuel vendor partnerships. This individual will help organize, prioritize, and continually improve our existing vendor relationships, while simultaneously exploring and developing new relationships.

This position will spend most of their time traveling to current and future cities, in which PlaneSense operates. This will encompass The United States, Canada, Bermuda, Mexico, The Bahamas’s, and some Caribbean Islands. As a representative of PlaneSense, they will attend conferences and trade shows related to Business Aviation. They will need to summarize their travel agendas, objectives, and detail their interactions, on a weekly basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Demonstrates the ability to understand business needs and analyze existing partnerships in order to detect trends, identify issues, and opportunities. Provides internal stakeholders with recommendations and drives the overall vendor process.
  • Performs due diligence on potential partners, manages RFP's, facilitates communication and on-site visits, and oversees action plans to address vendor performance
  • Establishes strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective planning and collaboration on appropriate vendor related matters
  • Negotiates pricing with vendors and makes recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Develops and maintains vendor database, establishes contract tickler system
  • Manages several work streams with tight deadlines
  • Works with legal, compliance, operations, finance and other cross-functional teams
  • Ensures that all paperwork (Contracts, W9s, Agreements, Certificates of Insurance etc.) is appropriately completed by vendors
  • Resolves pricing and billing disputes with all vendors in conjunction with the Accounts Payable team
  • Actively monitors market trends and new service offerings
  • Proactively identifies and mitigate risks
  • Serve as the point of contact for account network service related issues raised by call center representatives, billing, accounting, and clients alike

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret complex contracts, and recommend value-based language concepts
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills - manage through shifting timelines, resources constraints and limitations while executing concurrent priorities and balancing tactical and strategic points-of-view

Other Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must possess a current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge

Part-time Office Assistant

The Office Assistant will work 25-30 hours a week assisting with record keeping, arranging travel accommodations for off-site training events, and all other administrative duties assigned by the Director of Flight Training. This position will work Monday-Friday and a flexible work schedule may be considered. This position has the potential to grow to full-time status based on department and company growth.

  • Tracking and updating pilot experience records
  • Arranging hotel accommodations
  • Arranging flight and ground transportation
  • Various office related tasks
