PlaneSense, Inc. manages and operates a fleet of over 30 Pilatus PC-12 aircraft on behalf of several hundred fractional share owners. Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) is the Pilatus authorized fleet service and support center for the PlaneSense® fractional fleet of PC-12s. As an FAA certified Part 145 repair station, AAC not only offers PC-12 support, but a host of services including turbine aircraft repairs, inspections, and avionics sales and repair services. AAC also supports and maintains the PlaneSense program's three Nextant 400XTi jets, and is preparing for the delivery of Pilatus PC-24 jets, which are scheduled to arrive in 2017.

PC-12 Direct Entry Captains

PlaneSense, Inc.is currently accepting resumes and will be interviewing for PC-12 Direct Entry Captain positions to fill our Spring, Summer, and Fall 2017 IGS classes.

In our screening process we look for aviation professionals with strong work ethic and exceptional skills that adapt well to the ever changing environment that fractional flight operations demands. Crew members must hold a current and valid FAA Commercial or ATP pilot license with single and multiengine land ratings. Total flight time/fixed wing minimum is 2000 hours, with 750 hours of PIC time, and 100 hours of instrument time.

Highly qualified candidates will have experience in Part 135 and/or Part 121 operations. Turbine experience preferred. Pilots must also hold a current and valid second class FAA medical and possess a current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges, and driver’s license.

PC-12 First Officers

PlaneSense, Inc., which manages the largest civilian fleet of PC-12 aircraft in the world, will be interviewing for PC-12 First Officers positions this Spring to fill our Summer and Fall 2017 IGS classes.

Our pilots work an 8 on/6 off schedule with an operating area including; the continental United States, Canada, the Bahamas, and islands of the Caribbean, with continuous expansion. PlaneSense, Inc. also has a growing fleet of Nextant 400XTi jets and later this year will take delivery of the first much anticipated Pilatus PC-24 jet. A favorable career path has been created to allow our PC-12 crew members to transition into the jet flight operations, based on seniority.

We look for First Officer candidates with 1,000 hours total flight time/fixed wing; however, resumes with as low as 500TT will be considered, depending on training and experience. Part 135 and/or Part 91 subpart K; Corporate flight; and/or flight time in advanced avionics systems or glass systems.

Flight Management Representative

PlaneSense, Inc., which manages and operates the world’s largest civilian fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft on behalf of several hundred fractional share owners, seeks to hire a highly capable and self-motivated person for a complete spectrum of aviation-related Customer and Crew Service work within its Flight Operations Center (FOC). The FOC manages over 30 aircraft and over 100 pilots 24/7 to provide guaranteed on-demand service to its fractional share owners within the boundaries of Federal Aviation regulations, Air Traffic Control and ever changing weather. The environment is a high-energy atmosphere, especially during peak travel periods.

All inbound and outbound communications traffic passes via phone conversation or electronic mail and flights are organized electronically utilizing industry-specific computer software. 99% of the work done is by computer and phone in an open office setting.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as first point of contact for aircraft owners to ensure that owners needs are met and exceeded
  • Build accurate itineraries and send confirmations
  • Research unfamiliar airport facilities
  • Inform owners about Air Traffic Control, weather, and maintenance delays
  • Notify flight crews of flight info to include airport, weather, passenger loads, customs info, etc.
  • FAA-mandated flight tracking
  • Reserving US and international customs landing rights
  • Supports for flight crews while “on the road” to include hotel, transportation, meals

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software imperative
  • Aviation or travel industry experience is not required, but certainly preferred
  • Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays. We are open Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, etc.
  • Outstanding communication skills required
  • The ability to work as a team-member, but also be self-motivated

Aircraft Maintenance Technician

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for its repair station, Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. Highly qualified candidates would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in General Aviation A&P Certificate Required. Responsibilities include repairing aircraft, aircraft engines, and aircraft components in accordance with applicable technical data, industry standards and the Atlas Aircraft Center "Repair Station Manual." Technicians need to have a good comprehension of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.

Accounts Receivable Specialist

PlaneSense, Inc. is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to add to their busy Accounting Department.  The Accounts Receivable Specialist performs the daily activities and implements the objectives of the Company’s accounts receivable cycle through maintenance and management of the accounts receivable business functions. This position ensures that invoicing is processed accurately and timely, as well as, performs the monthly procedures for the Accounts Receivable collection process. This entry-level position has growth potential for the right candidate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Prepares, processes and reconciles the monthly invoicing
  • Reviews and reconciles aircraft expense logs
  • Reviews Flight Logs to insure accuracy for invoicing
  • Tracks aircraft owner pass-through charges
  • Properly records and applies cash
  • Prepares soft email reminders and responds to Owner inquiries via A/R email inbox and phone
  • Interfaces with Contracts, Sales Team, and Legal Department to resolve Customer Account issues
  • Prepares default letters for legal review
  • Monitors Accounts Receivable Aging and updates status
  • Supports Management by providing timely and accurate information upon request
  • Compiles various monthly reports
  • Prepares COB FET Tax and PSI Surtax summary and payment requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related area, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years working in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience in Aviation preferred but not required

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate Excel and MS Word- advanced skills a plus
  • Experience with GP Microsoft Dynamic

Other Skills and Abilities

Legal Assistant

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking a full time paralegal or experienced legal assistant to support the Legal Department. Duties include drafting of correspondence and documents, organizing and maintaining corporate governance documentation and records, typing, filing and other administrative tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, multi-tasking ability and a high level of proficiency with MS Office is a must. Applicant should enjoy working independently on projects.

Custodian

The Custodian performs a variety of janitorial and maintenance services for both of the PlaneSense, Inc. facilities, totaling in 57,000 square feet of business offices, conference rooms, hallways, bathrooms, breakrooms and outside parking lot and walkways.

The weekly work schedule consists of 4 days:

Friday, & Saturday, 1030pm - 830am
Monday, & Tuesday 1100am - 900pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Housekeeping (sanitation, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, etc.)
  • Trash removal
  • Window cleaning
  • Carpet & floor maintenance
  • Landscape maintenance
  • Sidewalk snow removal & sweeping
  • Light repair work & preventative maintenance on building systems

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in the construction, maintenance or custodial work preferred
  • Basic computer skills


Other Skills and Abilities

  • Must also be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs without assistance & operate facility equipment while practicing proper/safe use of equipment
  • Must be self-motivated and willing to work independently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a security badge- assessment, 10 year criminal history records check and background check
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
