Planesense, Inc. visits Switzerland

At the beginning of the summer season, four of our executive staff members traveled to Stans, Switzerland where they visited the Pilatus Aircraft manufacturing facility. In anticipation of PlaneSense, Inc. taking delivery of Pilatus’ 1200th PC-12 (49th PC-12 for the PlaneSense program), George Antoniadis, Mike Baur, Ray Torres and Todd Smith were present when some of the final touches were being put on the momentous aircraft. The trip also provided the opportunity for members of our staff to meet the newly appointed CEO at Pilatus, Markus Bucher.

The timing of our visit to Switzerland aligned with the 2013 European Business Aviation Convention (Ebace), which was held in Geneva this year. Pilatus had a highly popular and exciting presence at this year’s convention, where they revealed a prototype for their Super Versatile Jet, the PC-24. The PlaneSense® team was fortunate enough to be there to support our manufacturer during their milestone event.
