Aerial Photoshoot

Aerial Photoshoot

We love seeing the blue and white PlaneSense® program PC-12s up in the sky, especially over recognizable landmarks. So, we decided to use one of the core aircraft to conduct a photo shoot in various locations, including all around Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, and Cape Cod. This aerial shoot required extensive pre-planning and coordination with Air Traffic Control (ATC). The time of day, lighting, flight conditions, and photo platform aircraft were all carefully considered and managed to get the best final result. The pilots for this shoot, Ray Torres (VP of Flight Operations), Chris Loprinze (Chief Pilot), and Mike Frattellone (Captain) were accompanied by photographer Karen Torres (who is Ray’s wife and a photography teacher). Both Ray and Karen were in the Air Force, and have great synergy and knowledge for this type of trip, in which the crew spent almost 10 hours in the air. Half of the time they were flying in formation with a Cessna 182RG with the window open! The photos shown here, as well as on the cover, are just a small sample of the photos that our team captured. We hope you enjoy them and that you recognize some of the sights.
