Destination: Quebec's Mont Tremblant and Kamalame Cay in the Bahamas

Whether you have been hoping to escape winter to a place like Kamalame Cay or would prefer to hit the slopes for some incredible skiing or snowboarding, we can probably get you there more quickly and more easily than similarly sized jets. How? The PC-12s in the PlaneSense program let you take off and land at many more runways. The large cargo door and spacious cabin are good for flying with skis, backpacks, beach chairs, diving gear or anything else that you want to bring along. And, our very personal level of service means scheduling and traveling will be smooth and simple.

If snow is your passion, Mont Tremblant in Quebec is for you. It will feel like a great European winter playground. Ski Magazine repeatedly crowned it the “Best Ski Resort in the East”. It has a 2,116 feet vertical drop, gets covered by 156 inches of snow every year and spreads out across 95 runs serviced by 14 state of-the-art lifts. More information is handy at Hotel Quintessence is perhaps the best luxury hotel if you want everything done for you, or you can choose luxury ski chalets from www.tremblantliving. com to escape, indulge and pamper yourself. Another plus is enjoying Quebec culture après skiing in the bustling scene of boutiques, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. If you want to mix fun with doing good, the annual "24h of Tremblant" in early December is Eastern North America's biggest fundraising ski event. It creates an exciting vibe at the base of the slopes to benefit the fight against childhood illnesses.

But, if the hot weather is more your thing, Kamalame’s 4,300 feet airstrip means that when we touch down, you simply go. When we fly into Kamalame Cay, we just want to stay. Can we tear ourselves away? Yes, while our schedule already has us pointed in another direction, we know we’ll be back. If not Kamalame Cay, it’ll be another great spot like Ocean Reef, FL or Cumberland Island, GA.

Idyllic and isolated, Kamalame Cay is described as “an oasis of breathtaking natural beauty - wrapping ocean adventure and island romance in the luxury of a private island experience.” It’s one of the very best private escapes, offering cottages, bungalows, beach houses and classic Plantation style villas for relaxing and living the ‘barefoot chic’ character for which the island is known. The setting is a lush oasis ringed by three miles of deserted, white-sand beach, colorful coral gardens, and warm, turquoise waters that are perfect for just being on a beach in the sun or, for the more actively-minded, great swimming, scuba diving, sea kayaking and fishing.
