Meet Peter Dite

Peter Dite

Peter Dite joined the PlaneSense® team two years ago as a Flight Manager. Born and raised in the Czech Republic (then Czechoslovakia), Peter served in their 82nd Airborne Division from 1989 to 1991 as a jumper on Mi-17 helicopters. He also worked closely with Antonovs (similar in size to the giant C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft flown by the US Air Force). While in the Czech Republic, Peter earned an Electro-Engineering degree.

After relocating to the United States in 1998, Peter obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to speaking Czech, Peter is fluent in Russian, Spanish, and English. He enjoys cross country skiing and snowboarding, sand volleyball, and martial arts. For the past 6 years, Peter has been training in Jung Ki Kwan Hapkido, which is a Korean martial art. He is also trained in Shotokan Karate and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Currently, Peter lives in Portsmouth, NH, has two cats, and is working on acquiring his private pilot license.
