Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor – New Hampshire
Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., the sister company of PlaneSense, Inc.. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for its headquarters in Portsmouth, NH for the 2nd shift.
The Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient use of time by technicians to manage a cohesive workflow and achieve maintenance goals. This role is responsible for compliance by technicians that all company policies and procedures in company manuals are followed in addition to applicable federal regulations and guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Supervise maintenance leads and technicians.
- Ensures the proper continuity of maintenance and inspection items from current shift to the next shift by completing a pass down log which is maintained in the Maintenance Library.
- Work with business office regarding work order and warranty concerns
- Communicate with technical support for troubleshooting assistance and warranty requirements
- Communicate with PlaneSense maintenance control to determine daily priorities
- Coordinate maintenance performed both at and away from station by Atlas Aircraft Center personnel.
- Supervises, directs, and coordinates the maintenance functions to ensure efficient and effective use of equipment, materials, and personnel.
- Ensures adequate flow of supplies and materials to assigned employees while anticipating and requisitioning needed materials.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure availability of proper instructions and technical data for each job.
- Ensure housing, facilities, equipment, tools, and materials are maintained.
- Provide administrative support by Completing technician annual reviews, managing personnel schedule and time off requests
Qualifications:
- A&P License
- Prior aircraft maintenance work experience
- Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and thereafter submit to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
- Must pass a background check including a government required fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
Education and/or Experience:
- A&P License
- Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience preferred
Computer Skills:
- Must possess a willingness to learn aviation and aircraft specific software.
