Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager
Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) and sister company PlaneSense, Inc., (PSI) located in tax-free Portsmouth, NH seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager. Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) is a Pilatus authorized fleet service and support center for the growing PlaneSense fractional fleet of Pilatus PC-12s and PC-24 jets. As an FAA certified Part 145 repair station, we specialize in PC-12 and PC-24 maintenance, including turbine aircraft repairs, inspections, and Avionics sales and repair service. The Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager supervises the training department staff and has the responsibility of overseeing the FAA approved training program which includes managing and developing the training program and complying with the procedures in the Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. (AAC) approved Training Program.

Note: Based on necessity or absence, the Maintenance Training Manager may delegate authority to any qualified individual. This delegation does not relieve the Maintenance Training Manager of the overall responsibility of compliance.
- Maintain training records
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule trainings away from base
- Communicate with training facilities
- Supervise the coordination of class schedules for day and evening shifts
- Maintain oversight of FAA safety times to ensure Diamond award is met annually
- Work with the EHAS department and create OSHA trainings and maintain scheduled requirements
- Meet with the FAA annually for reviews of the repair station training department requirements
- Communicate with Accounting to notify of upcoming training expenses for outstation trainings
- Oversee computer training website to ensure training is uploaded and completed as required
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department regarding recruiting trips and assist with new applicant hiring
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with regulations for new hire trainings for Maintenance, Line Services, Administration, Maintenance Control and Parts department
- Revise Repair station training manual as needed
- Create, co-ordinate and schedule outside vendor trainings for Category 3 maintenance providers
- Supervise the maintenance of electronic records for Maintenance, Line Services, Administration, Maintenance Control and Parts Department
- Coordinate with the Administration department to ensure travel, per diem, hotels and rental cars are scheduled for trainings away from base
- Be available to technicians while away from base to ensure they have what is needed
- Research potential courses to offer
- Coordinate with Safety Department for changes to the SMS system
- Apply for & track training entitlements with FlightSafety
- Maintain and track training vouchers for Pilatus
- Potential for travel to other AAC locations and vendor sites

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma required
- Corporate and General Aviation Management Experience or equivalent is required
Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office Proficient
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Aircraft and Power Plant License required
- Inspection Authorization License preferred
- Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit preferred
