Aircraft Parts & Inventory Attendant – Nevada
Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., the sister company of PlaneSense, Inc., is seeking an Aircraft Parts & Inventory Attendant for its dynamic aircraft Parts Department in Boulder City, NV.
The Aircraft Parts & Inventory Attendant assists with day-to-day functions of the Parts Department. They are directly involved with all shipping, receiving and inventory functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform customer service and support functions associated with the Parts Window
- Identify, control, segregate and maintain all stock in a serviceable condition
- Ensure the preservation of all articles carried in inventory
- Verify and receive all incoming items in accordance with the Repair Station and Parts Room procedures
- Distribute supplies and material throughout the facility in support of operations
- Maintain inventory control on all company owned equipment within the Tool Crib
- Maintain all records within the Parts Room
- Assist in Facility and Hangar Operations, including aircraft movement, cleaning and other tasks
- Process shipping requests by multiple departments in compliance with Hazardous Materials regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check including a criminal history records check.
- Valid state driver’s license
- Capability of lifting to 60 lbs.
- Willing and able to work any shift assigned at the time of hire, which may include day or evening shifts. Schedules may also include weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A driver’s license is required to use company vehicles.
- In-house forklift and hazmat safety training.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn aviation specific software
