Parts Room Attendant – Nevada

Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., the sister company of PlaneSense, Inc., is seeking a Parts Room Attendant for its dynamic aircraft Parts Department in the company’s Boulder City, NV (BVU) location.

Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. is the authorized, Pilatus approved, fleet service and support center for the PlaneSense® fractional fleet of Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft, in addition to being the home of the largest non-factory owned depot of Pilatus aircraft parts in the world. The Parts Department ensures that parts needed for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance are either immediately on hand or can be attained in minimum time as well as providing operational support 24/7 to the entire facility.

The BVU Parts Room Attendant Responsibilities include inventory reconciliation and issuing items and tools to appropriate departments. They will work closely with the Parts Department at the Portsmouth, NH (PSM) location to monitor purchasing, inventory levels and daily shipping and receiving requirements.

Some related duties include:

  • Handling all shipping and receiving requirements for the facility, including unloading daily shipments from delivery trucks
  • Processing of incoming receipts and keeping parts and receiving documentation organized and thorough
  • Stocking and storing parts and other items
  • Conduct cycle counting and assist with year-end inventory
  • Maintain calibrated tooling and shelf-life tracking lists
  • Create purchase orders and work orders for in house servicing of parts

The work environment consists of an airconditioned hanger and parts room, with frequent trips outdoors for shipping and receiving. The schedule will consist of day shifts only at this time, but Parts Attendants must have the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when needed. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders throughout the shift, and be willing to become certified to drive a forklift.

Qualified candidates should have prior work experience in: 

  • Shipping and receiving
  • Computer inventory management systems
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Hazmat training is a plus

Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license.
