Accelerated Captain Pathway Program
Fast track your career at PlaneSense with this Accelerated Captain opportunity! First Officer candidates with over 1200 hours total time can qualify for our Accelerated Captain Pathway Program. These candidates are hired as a PC-12 First Officer and have the opportunity to be selected for the Captain role early. After First Officer training, these pilots can elect to complete a one-day Upgrade Evaluation. Successful completion of the Upgrade Evaluation results in Captain pay and selection into a Captain training process.

Captains work an 7 on duty/7 off schedule with an operating area including the continental United States, Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America.

- Current and valid FAA Commercial or ATP pilot license with single engine land ratings
- Total flight time/fixed wing minimum: 1200 TT hours
- Highly qualified candidates will have CFII and 75+ hour instrument time preferred
- Current and valid second class FAA medical
- Current passport with unrestricted international travel privileges
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred but not required: Part 135 and/or Part 91 subpart K; Corporate flight; and/or flight time in advanced avionics systems or glass systems.
First Officers are on payroll and eligible for benefits Day One of initial training.

In addition to the Accelerated Captain Pathway Program, PC-12 Captains have the opportunity to be promoted to Instructor Pilot and Check Airman, which is based on merit, not seniority. PC-12 crew members may transition into Jet Flight Operations based on seniority. The large PlaneSense® jet fleet includes a growing number of Pilatus PC-24 jets.
MEL Commercial, ATP, and CTP course opportunities are provided as needed.
